In just over 24 hours, Adrian Dodson-Shaw will hit the start line of the North Pole Marathon and his journey into the history books!
Not only has he already become the first Indigenous Australian to touch down at the North Pole, he’ll also make history as the first Indigenous Australian to run one of the world’s most gruelling – and undoubtedly, coldest – events in the world.
Adrian will experience an approximate temperature change of 80C, coming from the scorching heat of Broome to run in the -38C Arctic conditions.
Read more about Adrian’s epic adventure, supported by IMP fundraiser from Canberra, Jon Brand. We are calling on the support of our incredible followers and corporate partners to get behind this history-making event, so please dig deep and help sustain the future of IMP.
