The IMP is a life-changing program providing health, fitness and education pathways to dedicated, hardworking and determined Indigenous Australians.

Each year, a squad of 12 is selected to train under the guidance of Rob de Castella to run in the world famous, New York Marathon.

As a member of IMP 2015, not only will you spend six months training and preparing for the run but you will also undertake a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health and learn to push yourself both mentally and physically beyond what you ever thought possible.

Are you are an outstanding young Indigenous male or female aged between 18-30 who has the passion to make a difference and the commitment to train for a marathon?

Do you want to help us promote the importance of health and well being in Indigenous communities and teach your family, friends and community members the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and being physically active?

If so, then this might be the ultimate opportunity to challenge yourself beyond your boundaries.

No formal running experience is required, just a positive attitude, and a commitment to trying new things and doing your best.
