Get involvedThe Indigenous Marathon Project is a not for profit organisation established to address the incidence of chronic disease and inactivity within Indigenous Australia.
If you or your organisation wants to make a difference to the health of our nation and inspire thousands to lead an active life then please, donate.
There are three key ways that you as an individual can make a contribution to the Indigenous Marathon Project:
Make an online donation through the IMP fundraising page on the Go Fundraise website. IMP has recently received DGR status, and a tax receipt will be issued to you following your donation. Donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Be part of our Footprints fundraising campaign, where the funds you raise go directly to the IMP athletes.
Become a member of our 42 Club, a new initiative aimed at providing long-term support.
Donations can also be made over the phone or by cheque or cash. Please contact the IMP office for more information.
2015 CITY 2 SURF GOLD CHARITY RUNNERSThe 2015 City 2 Surf is one of the nation’s most iconic running events. It is known as much for its atmosphere as Heartbreak Hill and attracts runners of all ages and abilities, from all over the world.
If you are running in this year’s event, then you can become one of our Gold Charity Partners and run on behalf of the IMP.
Why not get your running group involved or create some friendly fundraising competition among your colleagues? Even if it’s your first fun run or you’re aiming for a PB, you can help raise much needed funds and help make a difference to Indigenous Australia.
People who sign up as a Gold Charity Partner for IMP will receive a free training shirt, a running guide written by Rob de Castella, and the chance to meet the 2015 IMP squad!

Sponsorship and Corporate Giving ProgramsIMP hopes to inspire thousands of Indigenous men, women and children to lead an active and healthy life. In order to do this, the Project has to overcome many obstacles, one of the most prevalent being funding.
IMP welcomes in kind and financial assistance from organisations that wish to contribute to the health of the indigenous population and be a part of this inspirational journey.
Please contact us today to discuss ways that you and your organisation may be able to assist.
