You are invited to join in a very significant community event – the inaugural Reconciliation Run on Sunday 1 June!

Reconciliation Run is supported by Reconciliation Australia and the Australian Government Department of Health as part of Reconciliation Week celebrations.

There is no registration process, no times are recorded – we simply ask you show your support with a gold coin donation to walk or run alongside our inspirational runners as they tackle their first training run around the picturesque, Lake Burley Griffin, starting at Reconciliation Place, Parkes.

Distances will include 5km, 10km and 15km and you run or work as much or as little as you like – it’s not a race.

Join us at 8am for an 8:30am start.  You don’t need to be fast, you don’t need to be a runner – all you need is to get involved and support the incredible Indigenous runners who will represent their communities and the nation at the 2014 New York marathon in November.

We also need your help to raise $2,000 for an education pathway for our squad members.  To find out more and make a donation, visit our FOOTPRINTS PAGE dedicated to this event.

Why not start your own fundraising page and ask your family, friends, colleagues to sponsor you for each kilometre you run or walk?  Visit our FOOTPRINTS FUNDRAISING PAGE to set up your very own page to share with your contacts.

All money raised will help to provide ongoing training, education and development for all IMP graduates.

So come along and support our inspirational runners and celebrate five years of IMP!

And don’t forget to share any selfies on social media #IMPReconRun!
