The Barossa Valley is set to come alive again with the 2016 Seppeltsfield Road Fun Run and Family Day!

The weekend will kick off on Friday 7 October with the IMP (a program of the IMF) Inspiration Night at Seppeltsfield Winery Vintage Cellar before a fun run on Sunday 9 October.

IMP Inspiration Night
Come and be inspired by IMP Graduates as they talk about their challenges, triumphs and adventures in training for and running marathons around the world. There will be an Auction and a Mystery Wine Stall, so bring along your money and help raise funds for IMF.

Stephen Pigram (Pigram Brothers) from Broome will be giving a special performance. The Barossa is his only stop-over in SA so don’t miss the opportunity to hear an inspiring and soulful performance from one of the legends of the music industry.

Prices start at $40 and all money raised goes to the Indigenous Marathon Foundation.

A fun family night out, under the stars at Whistler Wines watching the Musical Comedy Bran Nue Dae.

Stephen Pigram (Pigram Brothers) will be singing a couple of tracks from the movie and a Special Guest appearance from Mark Atkins…Storyteller, Songwriter, Composer, Artist and one of Australia’s finest Didgeridoo players.

Gates Open 6pm. Live Performance between 6.30-7.30pm. Movie Starts 7.30.

Seppeltsfield Road Fun Run
Enjoy fun and fitness along beautiful Seppeltsfield Road and run with IMP Graduates including Luke McKenzie 2013  Graduate, and John Leha and Eileen Byers, both 2015 IMP Graduates.

All money raised goes to the Indigenous Marathon Foundation.

Date & Time: Sunday 9 October, 8.30-11.30am

Venue: Start at Whistler Wines, Marananga and run/walk 5.5km to Seppeltsfield Winery Picnic Grounds, Seppeltsfield

Cost: Child (under 5) Free, Child (5-16years) $5, Adult $25, Family $50. Click here to register. Please note that there will be limited registration facilities on the day.

A great way to relax after your run/walk, or just come straight to the Family Day and enjoy a day of celebrating our rich Indigenous Culture with live music, dance, art, basket weaving, games, remedial massages, interact with native animals, kids craft activities, food and refreshments and also a chance to meet and chat with our IMF guests and other special guests.
