You’re invited to a unique opportunity to meet and run with the 2017 squad as they take on their very first long run!

When: Sunday 28 May

Time: 10:30am

Where: Reconciliation Place (the flag display)

The 2017 IMF Reconciliation Run is an event for everyone and we are encouraging people of all ages and abilities to join us at Reconciliation Place, support the squad and enjoy a nice morning run around Lake Burley Griffin.

The maximum distance is 15km, but you can run for as long or short as you like – it’s not a race nor is it a timed event. The Reconciliation Run is your opportunity to celebrate Australia’s Indigenous culture and heritage, while meeting the inspirational Indigenous Australians who have travelled from remote, regional and city communities, ready to tackle the challenge of their lives as they start their journey to New York.

It’s a free event, however donations on the day are very much appreciated! All donations over $2 are tax deductible.  If you would like to make a donation but are unable to make the run, you can donate here.

For the fashion-conscious, IMF merchandise will also be available for purchase.

We look forward to welcoming you all to this year’s squad – come and support this incredible group of Indigenous Australians as they embark on one of the biggest challenges of their lives; training for the New York Marathon in just six months!
